Fans in Rangers roof scare

-

SOME 300 Rangers fans had to be moved by stewards because of a safety issue at Ibrox (left) during the Championship clash with Dumbarton. The second half was delayed by 10 minutes after a piece of roofing fabric came loose and was seen dangling from the top of the Sandy Jardine Stand. Fans in the section below were moved into the Broomloan Stand before play could restart, though some spilled on to the pitch. Shortly after the resumption, Jason Holt put the Ibrox side 1-0 up before Martyn Waghorn doubled the lead. Substitute Nathan Oduwa, the winger on loan from Tottenham, fired a third four minutes after coming on then Andy Halliday converted a late penalty to seal a 4-0 win.
