SUCH a stunning transformation would normally suggest plastic surgery.
But Gwyneth Paltrow says it’s exercise which has perked up her posterior into a backside friends have told her could belong to a ‘22-year-old stripper’.
The mother-of-two, 43, has revealed how her personal trainer Tracy Anderson got her ‘sagging ass into shape’.
Gruelling two-hour sessions, endured six times a week, seem to be working. Shots taken this month in Malibu show the Oscarwinner with a firmer rear than she displayed in Sardinia in 2011.
In a video Miss Anderson sent to Miss Paltrow, she set out the routine. Uploading it to her website Goop, Miss Paltrow posted: ‘I swear that in ten days you will see your butt change shape. Some days I hate it, some days I love it, but above all, I stick with it. The sticktoitivness is what it is all about’. She once boasted of her behind, quipping: ‘I said, “You know, this isn’t so bad for 40, right?” And [my friend] goes, “It’s not so bad for a 22-year-old stripper!”’
Miss Paltrow first met Miss Anderson in 2007, training ahead of her first Iron Man film in which she plays Pepper Potts. She wrote: ‘I decided I’d had enough of my saddlebags and post-pregnancy Shar-Pei-like stomach.’
Her trainer said Miss Paltrow, who split from Coldplay singer Chris Martin in 2014, used to carry an ‘extra’ 35lb, adding: ‘Her butt was long and she had outer thigh problems’.
The Hollywood star also swears by anti-cellulite treatments, brushing and massage.
