Satellite choice
SNOOKER Gdynia Open, 8.30am, Eurosport 2
NEIL ROBERTSON has won this tournament twice in its short history, in 2012 and 2015. The only other winner is Shaun Murphy, who took the title in 2014, and will be back in action in Poland this year.
FOOTBALL Hull City v Sheffield Wednesday, 7pm, Sky Sports 1
HULL are riding high at the top of the table in what is developing into a typically tight Championship title battle, and they face more potential promotion contenders this evening. The sides drew 1-1 when they met at Hillsborough in October.
MAKING OUR MIND UP Eurovision: You Decide, 7.30pm, BBC4

MOVIE ACTION Mad Max: Fury Road, 8pm, Sky Premiere
GEORGE MILLER resurrects his post-apocalyptic franchise, and it’s bigger and more booming than ever. Brit Tom Hardy (pictured) steps into Mel Gibson’s shoes as the futuristic road warrior.
SITCOM SEQUEL
Fuller House, Netflix
IN 1995, the U.S. family comedy Full House ended after 192 episodes. Now, it’s back, and star John Stamos (ER) seems as unchanged as the show’s style — the stars still have to wait for the studio applause to stop when they arrive in a scene. But there have been a few tweaks: there’s the odd knowing wink to camera, notably to mark the absence of Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen (who played Michelle on the original), and the stories are much more about the women.
ANCIENT ARTEFACT Forbidden History, 9pm, Yesterday
JAMIE THEAKSTON’S fanciful series returns for a new run, and in this opener, the presenter is on the trail of the Ark of the Covenant — the golden box that is said to have held the Ten Commandments. He travels to Ethiopia and finds the place where it might have sat for 800 years — on the island of Tana Qirqos, home to monks of the Ethiopian Church.
A SAILOR’S LIFE Devonport: Inside The Royal Navy, 9pm, Quest
THERE’S some awkward timing in this week’s slice of life at the Royal Navy base: the Muslim faith adviser visits the chaplaincy centre just as a round of bacon butties is whipped up for its relaxing, off-duty sailors. Elsewhere on the base, torpedoes are being very carefully loaded on to a submarine.
CRIME FIGHTERS
The Blacklist, 9pm, Sky Living
THIS U.S. thriller bowls back into action after a break with a new episode that places Liz (Megan Boone) inside that fateful glass box — and in the hands of the Director (David Strathairn).
SPECIAL AGENTS
NCIS, 9pm, Fox
AFTER last week’s silliness, the series takes a turn for the thoughtful as Jon Cryer returns as Dr Taft, the surgeon who saved Gibbs’s life at the start of the season. Tony’s ex, Jeanne, also turns up, during a case that takes the team into a warzone. Both arrivals give the leading men of NCIS food for thought, but the scenes between Gibbs and Taft are the most interesting — it’s rare to see Gibbs talking to someone he regards as an equal.
