AN INTERESTING statistic. In 1971, two years before Britain joined the then eeC, we had 21,500 fishermen producing 1 million tonnes of fish. Last year, just 11,845 fishermen caught around 600,000 tonnes. I imagine our fishermen will be voting to leave the eU.
