SPEND OR SAVE?
UNLESS you’ve managed to escape for a holiday, your skin is probably looking sun-deprived at this time of year.
But the start of spring means our thoughts are turning to summer, and beauty counters are already full of bronzing products promising to add a sunkissed glow to your complexion.
Bronzing wheels are brilliant, as they contain a mixture of shades to use together for an all-over tan. You can use a smaller brush to select only the lighter shades for highlighting cheekbones.
Baked Fusion Soft Lights by Smashbox (right, £25, smashbox.
co.uk) is a finely milled, silky powder that makes skin luminous while adding a warm glow. Swirl together the four shades with a large brush and sweep over the cheeks or decolletage. You can also use the darkest shade as a natural-looking eye shadow to complete the sun-kissed look.
For a cheaper option, try Soap & Glory’s Wonderbronze Shimmer Brick (left, £11, Boots). It has five hues to flatter all complexions, and gives a light shimmer to leave winter skin looking radiant.
