Wayne and Robert Mitchum are the far from perfect pair who join forces in defence of justice. NEW U.S. COMEDY Lady Dynamite, Netflix GOOFY mockumenta­ry about a woman trying to get her life back on track. It’s based on the experience­s of Maria Bamford, a U.S. comedian who specialise­s in self-deprecatin­g jokes about anxiety and who might be familiar from Arrested Developmen­t — she was Tobias’s wacky girlfriend. T20 CRICKET Essex Eagles v Surrey, 7pm, Sky Sports 2 RAVI BOPARA will want to give Essex a good start in their opening game in the South Group of the new T20 Blast season. Essex have disappoint­ed as losing quarter-finalists for the past two years. FOOTBALL Millwall v Bradford City, 7.30pm, Sky Sports 1 THE Lions are odds-on to be making the trip across London to Wembley for the League One play-off final after putting three past the Bantams at Valley Parade on Sunday. Bradford did get on the scoresheet, though, thanks to Tony McMahon’s early penalty, and won’t be giving up the fight just yet. FINE DINING World’s Best Restaurant­s, 8pm, Good Food HAVE you ever fancied eating underwater? Then Ithaa in the Maldives would be a great if expensive choice, at around £220 for a five-course dinner (plus air fare, etc). It’s the first stop in this lively new tour of alluring eateries, which also visits the Lake District and Munich. (Sky 133, Virgin 278) FUNNY MOVIE Trainwreck, 8pm, Sky Premiere LOVE-her-or-loathe-her comic Amy Schumer (pictured) wrote and stars in this ballsy tale, directed by Judd Apatow, that treads a fine line between gross-out and romcom. She plays a woman who won’t commit, finding a reason to question her beliefs about men. NATIONAL SECURITY NCIS, 9pm, Fox THERE’S a British connection in this week’s episode — a deadly ex-MI6 agent is on the loose, and both NCIS and the FBI are worried. The biggest mystery, though, is how Tony owns such a fancy flat on a government salary. McGee and Bishop are desperate to find out. MUSIC MAKERS EMI: The Inside Story, 10pm, BBC4 MEMBERS of Queen, Pet Shop Boys and Pink Floyd shed light on what it was like to work for the label that brought us The Beatles, while former employees share some entertaini­ng stories of extravagan­ce. MOCK DOCUMENTAR­Y Hoff The Record,, 10pm,p, Dave JESSICA HYNES pictured with David Hasselhoff) is the very funny guest star in this new episode. Hynes plays his new manager, a chancer with a fair bit of nous. She has an unexpected faith in the Hoff’s acting abilities — and she wears splendidly silly jackets. PRIVATE EYE Jack Irish: Blind Faith, 10pm, Fox IN THE finale of this dry Aussie noir, it becomes very clear to Jack (Guy Pearce) that — as ever, really — he doesn’t understand the scope of the mystery he’s been picking at. Still, Jack wouldn’t be nearly so likeable if he knew what he was doing. It’s how he handles himself in a pinch that counts, and he has to do plenty of that in this satisfying conclusion.
