Moyes’ date with United!

CONSIDERING manager David Moyes’ acrimonious departure from Manchester United after one season, he had an unlikely golf partner in United director David Gill for a round on the Dolce Hotel course in Chantilly. However, Moyes’ appointment and sacking at Old Trafford were handled by Gill’s chief executive successor Ed Woodward, although Gill remains on the football club board. Meanwhile, Gill, in the aftermath of the astonishing £60millionworth of bonuses shared between FIFA’s rogues, called for not-for-profit football organisations to end their bonus structure. Gill is also vice-chairman of the FA, who give out bonuses.
