WE saw Marek Hamsik hit an absolute piledriver for Slovakia yesterday. It was a great piece of opportunism — and of course, a fantastic finish — but for me it comes a close second to Dimitri Payet’s beauty on the opening night. Not only was it a sublime strike on his weaker foot, but Payet (left) scored late on when France were level and in need of some inspiration on their big night.
