But Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka has insisted her father is a feminist who made her the woman she is today.
The businesswoman, 34, defended the presumptive Republican nominee, saying: ‘[My father] always told me and showed me that I could do anything I set my mind to if I married vision and passion with work ethic. He’s also surrounded me with strong female role models.’
Speaking to The Sunday Times Magazine, she added: ‘People talk about gender equality. He has lived it, he has employed women at the highest levels of the Trump Organisation for decades.’
