MARTIN Schulz,

President of the EU Parliament, has claimed the murder of Labour MP Jo Cox was somehow linked to the ‘nasty’ EU referendum campaign. It was an appalling thing to say.

The tragic death of this magnificent MP was at the hands of a loner with a history of mental health problems. Mr Schulz disgraces himself and trivialises Mrs Cox’s death by attempting to use it for political advantage.
