JOSE MOURINHO claims he and Arsene Wenger are back on friendly terms despite revelations in an explosive book — serialised by

Sportsmail — that the Manchester United manager once wanted to fight his big Premier League rival. Mourinho was yesterday asked about the contents of Rob Beasley’s book, Jose Mourinho: Up Close And Personal, which revealed he said he wanted to break Wenger’s face. Asked if the claims were true, Mourinho said: ‘I met Arsene Wenger (right) a couple of weeks ago and like civilised people we shook hands, we sat on the same table, we had dinner together with other people, we exchanged ideas, we were speaking. ‘I don’t think the book will be in the gallery of Shakespeare. I prefer (not to) comment.’ The FA may yet look into Mourinho’s emails in the book, even though they were private between Mourinho and Beasley.
