How kicking your legs could stop you snoring

-

SWINGING your legs while you sit could help to stop you snoring.

Previously, researchers have found that sitting for a long time allows fluid to build up in the legs.

This fluid can then flow to the neck as you lie down to sleep, which adds pressure to the airways and obstructs breathing, leading to snoring. In a study reported in the journal respiratory Physiology & Neurobiology, 16 men were asked to sit for four hours without moving, and for four hours while pushing a pedal.

results showed when they moved their legs, they subsequently snored significantly less. Moving the feet and legs helps to reduce the fluid build-up.
