Ora’s panic room after burglary
RITA Ora has installed a panic room in her £1.3million north London home after a burglary left her ‘mentally scarred’, friends of the singer said.
Miss Ora ‘continues to have horrendous nightmares’ about the December 2015 burglary in which £200,000 worth of belongings were stolen, a friend said.
The former X Factor judge, pictured, has employed a team of specialists to oversee her security, and has installed a £20,000 panic room.
A friend of the 26-year-old singer said: ‘At the press of a button, a huge steel wall slides down from the ceiling blocking her off from any intruders ... It was expensive, but you cannot put a price on safety.’
They added: ‘Although the perpetrator is in prison, it has not eased her peace of mind and she has been living in almost constant fear that something similar would happen again.’
