SAKHO THE OCTOPUS IS PALACE SAVIOUR!

HAVING made error upon error earlier in the season, Crystal Palace have finally shored things up at the back. A lot of the credit must go to Mamadou Sakho, who is proving to be a shrewd loan signing for Sam Allardyce. I was never convinced by Sakho at Liverpool as he was often susceptible to making mistakes but he has been a real competitor for Palace. Sakho is not afraid to put his body on the line — he is like an octopus with his arms and legs flailing! Palace are yet to concede in the three games Sakho has started and James Tomkins has looked a lot more confident playing alongside him. I never thought Palace were going to go down but Sakho has made safety look all the more assured.
