WHEN you have your own lifestyle brand, the sartorial stakes are especially high — but designer India Hicks rose to the challenge for a sea world-themed birthday party.

Prince Charles’s goddaughter Hicks, 49, who lives in the Bahamas, described the creative process as ‘hot glue guns, a plastic dress, shells and some seaweed straight off the beach’.

The black dress hugged the statuesque blonde’s curves, and was scattered with orange and cream sea shells.

A shimmering tail fin completed the piscatorial look.

Hicks paired the dress with a gold and orange mask, and donned a silver wig for the occasion. The birthday girl in question was Michele King Soffer, the fifth wife of 84-year-old U. S. billionaire Donald Soffer.
