Private Health Insurance

Private health insurance could give you the peace of mind you need

Daily Mail - - Mail Finance -

If you are worried about your health, a private health insurance plan could give you the reassurance and support that you need. Some health insurance providers will often give you access to support networks, information and guidance to help you feel confident in your treatment and recovery.

Mail Finance are pleased to introduce AXA PPP healthcare to provide affordable private health insurance to its readers.

Some of the biggest worries we can face involve our health. That is why here, at AXA PPP healthcare, our award winning Personal Health plan is designed to give you peace of mind when you need it most, providing you with prompt access to diagnosis and eligible treatment for any new conditions that develop once you join. While the NHS does its best with limited resources and increasingly limited funds, waiting times can be long before you get access to the right specialist. Our Fast Track Appointments service means that if you need to see a specialist, we can help by finding you one, fast, at a time and place to suit you. As well as having the reassurance of prompt access to services, there may be extra support that you need after a diagnosis or consultation. If you want a second opinion, you can rest assured that, when you take out the out-patient option available with our Personal Health plan, it is covered. We designed our Second Opinion Service to make sure that our members are completely confident with their specialist’s recommendations, diagnosis or treatment plan.

“We pride ourselves on having over 75 years experience in providing for our member’s health cover needs - that is longer than the NHS.”

A 24/7 telephone helpline, Health at Hand, is available to all of our members. Our team of nurses, counsellors, midwives and pharmacists are here to support you, over the phone, with useful information. Our knowledgeable and highly experienced nurses and counsellors are available to talk to 24/7 and our pharmacists and midwives are available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday, until 4pm on Saturday and until 12pm on Sunday. So if you ever have a question regarding your or your family’s health, you can be sure that someone’s there to help, whatever the hour. If you ever have to face a heart problem or cancer then you may be after a more specialist type of support. As an AXA PPP healthcare member, you can call one of our dedicated Heart and Cancer nurses who are here to lend support to you and your family members: because we know how important specialist knowledge and understanding is for everyone involved.

We pride ourselves on having over 75 years experience in providing for our member’s health cover needs – that is longer than the NHS. We understand that expert care and support is what matters most, along with genuine help, support and understanding from people who care. As a special offer for Mail Finance readers, when you join AXA PPP healthcare, we will send you a FREE £50 M&S voucher.*

If you already have health insurance but are looking to switch providers, we have got lots of experience helping people switch to us. Just give us a call and we will manage the paperwork for you. Once you are satisfied with the terms and conditions of your new cover, we can arrange for your new plan to start on the date your current policy expires – so there will be no gaps in your cover. In most cases, your cover can continue without any interruptions, subject to the terms and conditions of the new plan that you choose.
