HOME fragrance ranges are becoming more and more sophisticated, with candles, diffusers and room sprays now available in our favourite scents.

Diptyque’s new diffuser collection is exceptionally stylish. The Sablier (right, £120, Diptyque stores) is a stunning take on the brand’s traditional hourglass diffusers. The double-ended, beautifully crafted scent bottle comes in a choice of ginger, roses, fig tree, orange blossom or 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain — each a different colour. And while many may be put off by the price tag, the diffuser can be used again and again with refills (£36 each).

Once the ornamental glass bottle is flipped upside down, the scent is released and flows from one end to the other, infusing your home with a calming aroma.
