De Boinville’s fit for Henderson title bid

NICO DE BOINVILLE escaped serious injury when falling in Saturday’s Scottish national and will bid to steer boss nicky henderson to a much-soughtafter trainer’s title this week.

‘nico’s fine. he’s stiff, but no worse,’ said henderson. ‘he says he’s going to ride out today so he should be all right for punchestown.

‘We’ve got runners there and now we’re going to have to pull a few rabbits out of the hat for Sandown after paul nicholls won the Scottish national on vincente.’
