Boris ex’s new lover summoned to court

-

WHEN arts consultant Helen Macintyre gave birth to Boris Johnson’s love child, their affair ended up in a court case in which judges ruled the public had a right to know about the Foreign Secretary’s ‘reckless’ behaviour.

Now Miss Macintyre, 43, has received a summons at her vast 18th- century manor house in Kent for her new married lover, French aristocrat Baron Cyrille de Gunzburg, to appear in court in Paris next month.

Baron de Gunzburg, 53, is charged with failing to make payments to his wife, Diana, and abandonment of family.

‘I have been forced to borrow money from friends,’ Diana, 55, an English writer, tells me. ‘The divorce court ordered him to pay the money last July.

‘Our daughter has been so stressed because he’s not been honouring the court order to pay her rent and fees at university that she’s been diagnosed with a stomach ulcer. To add insult to injury, he’s cancelled our health insurance.’

Baron de Gunzburg had driven his wife’s £50,000 Audi Q7 to Kent, but it has since been repossessed.

When bailiffs arrived to remove the car, Miss Macintyre was heard by them telling her lover to stop paying maintenance to his estranged wife of 25 years — apparently unaware that he had been regularly defaulting on payments since last August.

I disclosed in January that Miss Macintyre was living with raffish art dealer De Gunzburg, whose extended family is well known in financial and cultural circles.

The couple have been cutting a swathe through the London cultural scene, where chic Helen has introduced her lover to fashionable friends such as Sir Nicholas Serota, outgoing director of the Tate Gallery, and billionaire art collector Poju Zabludowicz.

Helen gave birth to Boris’s daughter in 2009, and Johnson’s wife, Marina Wheeler, 52, threw him out of their house after reports were published alleging that the child was his.

Boris, also 52, who was Mayor of London at the time, was later reconciled with his wife of 23 years, a top barrister.

Macintyre moved out of the home she shared with her then partner Pierre Rolin, a property developer, before he discovered that he had been cuckolded by Johnson.
