Jude soldiers on as theatre crowd snigger at big scene

SOME of Jude Law’s fans seem to struggle to separate his colourful love life from his acting roles.

This was demonstrated during a performance of his new play Obsession, in which he portrays a man who falls in lust with another man’s wife.

There is one scene in which his lover tells him she’s pregnant.

It’s meant to be very intense and serious but unfortunately, thanks to to Jude’s priapic history, it is anything but.

during saturday’s show at the Barbican Theatre in London, one audience member shouted out ‘ uh, oh’ at the fateful moment and the entire audience burst out laughing.

I’m told: ‘Jude took it quite well, but his leading lady looked very p***ed off.’

Law has warned audiences they ‘will have to work a little harder’ to understand his play.

It seems they are also having to work hard to distinguish between the actor and his fictional alter ego.
