LUKAKU WON’T SLEEP TONIGHT, SAYS CARRA

- LAURIE WHITWELL

HARRY KANE aims to reach 30 Premier League goals for the first time in his career after scoring four in the destruction of Leicester. The Tottenham striker wants a repeat at Hull on the final day after moving to 26 goals for the season, two above Romelu Lukaku in the race for the Golden Boot. ‘To score four for the first time, it’s a good time to do it,’ said Kane. ‘I was looking to score a couple, I was looking to take the Golden Boot into the last game, but now I’m in the driving seat. ‘I’ll go to Hull looking to get four more.’ Kane has now become the fifth Premier League player to score 25 goals or more in consecutive seasons. Speaking on Sky Sports,

Sportsmail columnist Jamie Carragher said: ‘All strikers who say it’s all about the three points are all liars. With the smile on Kane’s face, Lukaku won’t be able to sleep tonight.’ Mauricio Pochettino said there was no reason for the 23-year-old to leave Spurs, saying: ‘He’s fantastic again, he fights to be top scorer in the league. He’s one of the best strikers in the world. ‘I’ve told you many times we’ll keep the players we want to keep, and sell those we want to sell. We are so calm about our key players. ‘We’ll look to improve the squad again in the summer, and play exciting football.’ Son Heung-min scored a brace to take his season’s total to 21, meaning Spurs now have three players surpassing the 20-goal mark with Kane and Dele Alli. No other Premier League club have matched that feat. ‘We were totally second best,’ said Craig Shakespeare, who is hoping to get the Leicester job full time. ‘When they scored the third goal I didn’t see enough desire to defend as a team.’
