ON THE BOARD
THE departing boss of TV firm ITV has been appointed senior independent director of Cost a - owner Whitbread.
Adam Crozier, who announced this month he was leaving ITV, will take the post from September 21, replacing Sir Ian Cheshire.
Crozier, 53, who joined the board in April, steered ITV through the recession. His tenure saw it make hits like Poldark and Broadchurch.
The Scot is married to Annette, whom he met while working for Saatchi & Saatchi, and has two children.
