Bella Hadid displays sheer nerve in Cannes

MODEL Bella Hadid made sure all eyes were on her at the 2017 Cannes amfAR Gala, held at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, by wearing a sheer dress adorned with jewels. The 20-year-old American, who dominates the fashion scene with her sister and fellow mannequin Gigi, 21, has already earned an estimated £4 million fortune. Pop singer Rita Ora, in a flapper- inspired mini-dress, and Lara Stone, ex-wife of comedian and children’s author David Walliams and mother of his young son, seemed positively demure by comparison. ‘I do like being in front of the camera more and more,’ trills Hadid who is also an aspiring fashion photographer.

‘Having experience behind it has taught me about lighting and angles, how to move, what looks good and what doesn’t.’
