Son-in-law faces FBI Russia probe
THE US President’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, is being investigated by the FBI as part of a probe into Russia’s alleged hand in the US election, it emerged yesterday.
The inquiries into one of Donald Trump’s most trusted advisers places the investigation closer than ever to the White House – and the Trump family.
The Washington Post and NBC quoted US officials as saying Ivanka Trump’s husband was facing FBI scrutiny. Agents are said to be focusing on his December meetings with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and a Moscow bank boss.
There is no suggestion investigators suspect Mr Kushner, 36, of any wrongdoing.
