Egypt gunmen kill 28 Christians
AT least 28 people were killed and 22 injured after masked gunmen opened fire on a bus carrying Coptic Christians, including children, in Egypt yesterday.
The bus was travelling on a side road in the desert, from Beni Suef province to a remote monastery in Maghagha, about 140 miles from the capital Cairo.
Witnesses saw between eight and ten attackers in military uniforms.
No group claimed responsibility for the attack yesterday, the fourth to target Christians since December – but it bore hallmarks of Islamic State.
Medical officials feared the death toll could rise.
