Shameless Indulgence

CITRUS, the scent of summer on the Mediterranean coast, is at the heart of Tom Ford’s new perfume Sole Di Positano (£155, selfridges.com).

The seventh eau de parfum in the designer and auteur’s Neroli Portofino collection, this fragrance contains Italian bergamot, bitter orange, lemon and mandarin. The floral undertones come from ylang-ylang oil, shiso leaf, jasmine absolute and orange flower.

As with all Tom Ford creations, the packaging is exquisite and complements the scent — a luminous aqua tourmaline glass with a gold-toned label.

It’s the perfect scent for those summer holiday evenings.
