AS THIS year’s series of live broadcasts gets under way, Chris Packham and Michaela Str Strachan are keeping an eye on the local wildlife in a brand-new location — the National Trust’s Sherborne Estate, in the heart of the Cotswolds. Over the next three weeks, they will be joined in Gloucestershire by biologist Gillian Burke (pictured), who made her regular presenting debut on Winterwatch, while Martin Hughes-Games (yes, he’s still on the team) will be reporting from some of the more far-flung regions of the British Isles.
