ROBBED OF 65 PC OF PENSION INCOME

I WAS mis- sold a pension investment in storage pods but I received compensati­on when I complained about the advice. It’s great that the help is out there, but this shouldn’t be happening in the first place.

IF YOU don’t understand pensions, either learn about them or pay a profession­al to help you. This might take time and effort but ultimately you’ll save money in the long run.

I DON’T understand how people spend their entire lives saving into a pension but put very little time into looking at the best options for cashing in the money. When are people going to stop blaming others for their own downfall?

WHY are sensible people having to fork out to compensate people who didn’t shop around? It’s like trying to get a refund for a steak in Waitrose because you didn’t bother to check if it was cheaper in Tesco.

IF you have health issues, your holiday cover goes through the roof. So how can insurers ignore health issues when it comes to setting your annuity rate? It’s a lose-lose situation. Insurance firms are making up the rules to suit themselves and are not helping their customers.
