Hip, hip, hooray

SO SORRY to hear of the hip op hiccups (Letters). My wife Barbara had a hip replaced a week after her 90th birthday three years ago.

She went in on the Friday and came out on the Monday and could immediately climb 17 stairs up and down to the bedroom. She did

everything she was told by the surgeon and looks so well that most people she meets think she’s in her 70s. We thank God for our wonderful NHS. W. VANNER, Bognor Regis, W. Sussex.
