BALE FIT FOR CARDIFF... BUT HAPPY TO BE A SUB

GARETH BALE says he is fit for the Champions League final in Cardiff, but would understand if he only makes the bench. The Welshman has recovered from ankle ligament damage, but is aware the form of teammate Isco may see him have to settle for a substitute’s role. Bale said: ‘I haven’t played for seven weeks, so if I have to come on and make an impact, then that’s what I’ll have to do.’
