Brave Amber’s dad had just died

AMBER Rudd took to the stage for the election debate last night despite the recent death of her father.

The Home Secretary, pictured, took part in the 90minute BBC special even though Tony Rudd passed away on Monday. The retired stockbroker was 93. A source told The Sun: ‘It just shows how tough she is’.

Miss Rudd also suffered the loss of her ex-husband, journalist AA Gill, from cancer last year. They were married for five years in the 1990s and had two children.
