Keeping streets safe

WHAT were all the police doing before the manchester bombing (Letters)? Officers would have had their rest days cancelled to spend long hours on duty due to the critical threat level, volunteering for overtime to cover the extra patrols.

We are there to make sure the public feel safe while still doing all the day-to-day jobs of answering 999 calls and preventing crime.
