Tanning deal lifts shares
SHARES in Innova-Derma soared after the Skinny Tan owner secured a deal to stock the best-selling self-tanner in Boots.
The firm, which specialises in treatments for self-tanning, hair care and skin rejuvenation, has signed a deal to stock the product in at least 35 Boots stores across Ireland.
Skinny Tan was founded by Essex pair Kate Cotton and Louise Ferguson who, in a bid to change the perception of fake tans, perfected a formula designed to be indistinguishable from the real thing. InnovaDerma, which acquired the brand in May 2015, said that trading for the year had so far been very strong. Shares rose 20.4pc, or 57p, to 337p.
