WIN FAMILY TICKETS TO THE BIGGEST HISTORY FESTIVAL IN BRITAIN

The daily mail Chalke Valley history Festival is the place to be for anyone interested in history, and this is your chance to win Family entrance tickets for the weekend of July 1-2.

the festival, which runs from June 26 to July 2, attracts the finest talent in the country, including Britain’s favourite gardener monty don, historian sir Antony Beevor, presenter of Radio 4’s Woman’s hour dame Jenni murray, and award-winning lyricist sir tim Rice.

set in the heart of the Chalke Valley, near salisbury in Wiltshire, the festival is a celebration of the past like no other.

With a unique combination of speaker events and living history entertainment, including combat displays and interactive experiences, as well as a series of stunning short air displays with historic aircraft across the weekend, this unique event dazzles, entertains and educates whatever age you are.

there are four Family entrance tickets up for grabs. each one will give two adults and up to three children access to the site to see the Living history re- enactments and the air displays, hear all the pop-up history talks and visit the stalls for free.

however, should anyone wish to attend any of the literary talks and other paid-for activities, tickets for those will need to be booked in advance.

the Family entrance tickets can be used on either saturday July 1 or sunday July 2.
