Stop the Lib Dems’ Brexit spite
THE Lib Dems are failing badly and will be fortunate if they keep their current nine Commons seats. Against this background, it may seem strange that they are spending so much time, money and manpower campaigning in the Inner London constituency of Vauxhall — where they came fourth in 2015. The reason is that they are spitefully targeting Labour’s Kate Hoey — a widely respected MP who bravely campaigned in the EU referendum as a Leaver. Hoey has consistently done what she thinks is right, regardless of her party’s policy. For example, she voted against the Iraq war. We need more MPs like her. I am not a Labour supporter, but I urge Vauxhall voters to put a stop to this cynical Lib Dem stunt.
