BP cheers gas discovery

OIL giant BP says it has found around 2trillion cubic feet of gas off the coast of Trinidad in the Caribbean. It will now develop two wells, using an existing platform for one of them and building new infrastructure for the other. BP also announced it had signed an agreement with Russian oil giant Rosneft to cooperate on gas projects in Russia and abroad.
