CRICKET SCOREBOARD
BEN COAD continued his brilliant start to the season to give Yorkshire control of the Roses match at Headingley. The 23-year-old right-armer took six for 25 as Lancashire crumbled after captain Steven Croft won the toss and chose to bat. Coad now has 29 Championship wickets this season, including four five-wicket hauls. His first victim was England opener Haseeb Hameed, whose disappointing start to the Championship season continued as he was caught behind for just nine. Coad then ripped through the middle order as Lancashire slumped to 48 for six, and returned to finish off the tail. Yorkshire trail by just 30, with eight wickets remaining.
