HE WAS one of the greatest American entertainers of the past 50 years, and the success of his sitcom, The Cosby Show, re-defined the U.S. TV landcape over its eight-year run. As such, it’s hard to overstate the extent to which Bill Cosby was once revered by the American public. But all of that changed when he was accused of sexual assault by a woman who was, eventually, followed by dozens more. Today, more than ten years after that first accusation was made, Cosby (pictured) finally entered a courtroom in Pennsylvania to face a long-overdue criminal trial for sexual assault. With some of Cosby’s accusers talking on camera, this gripping film asks why it took so long.
