Heidi gives no frills chain a Lidl bit of style

THEY may not seem at first to have much in common, apart from being German. But supermodel Heidi Klum and budget supermarke­t Lidl are joining forces. Miss Klum, 44, pictured, has put together a ‘high-end yet affordable’ fashion range for the chain. It will be available at Lidl’s 650 UK stores, although supermarke­t bosses are keeping full details under wraps. Miss Klum, a mother of four, already has lingerie, swimwear and women’s fitness wear ranges.

She said: ‘Lidl is known for making quality products at affordable prices and I’m proud to partner with them on this fashion collaborat­ion. I had so much fun designing the pieces in this collection and can’t wait for you to see it.’

Ryan McDonnell, Lidl UK’s commercial director, said: ‘Heidi is an incredible source of inspiratio­n. We are extremely excited about offering our most premium fashion range to date.’
