Noakes the nice guy
AS AN assistant film editor on Blue Peter at the BBC, I have fond memories of working alongside John Noakes.
He was a professional, talented, cheeky character who was full of fun.
One day, he picked me up from my chair and whizzed me around to waltz with him to the show’s theme tune.
I blushed, as I was very young and had never before been swept off my feet.
