Jemma Kidd (the less famous sister of model Jodie Kidd) became a countess when she married Arthur Wellesley, Earl of Mornington, in 2005. But she was already sporting her own model looks here, aged 21, while on the cusp of launching her own make-up empire, Jemma Kidd Make-Up Ltd (now bust). The sweet and summery picture was also promoting an opera and Shakespeare season running at her ‘second home’, Holders House, in Barbados (Country Life suggested readers turned to page 64 for more details). Bathed in a golden light, she posed looking natural and relaxed in a loose, white shirt.
