Witchdoctors hunt bald men

-

FIVE bald men who were killed in Mozambique were targeted by witchdoctors who use their body parts in potions, police have said.

Officers warned other bald male visitors to the African country after three were killed in the last week alone.

Two of the men were brutally murdered. One had his head cut off and both had their internal organs cut out.

Two Mozambicans aged around 20, thought to be hired hit-men, have been arrested after the killings in the Milange district in the south. Officers say the body parts were traded to clients in Malawi and Tanzania. Police spokesman Inacia Dina said: ‘Their motivations come from superstition and culture as the local community thinks bald men are rich and that their parts can be used to enrich others.’ Police commander Afonso Dias added the heads of bald men are believed to contain gold.
