SPIRITS maker Distil will be nursing a hangover today after investors shrugged off its first annual profits.
Distil markets and sells gin and vodka, among other alcoholic drinks, under the Blavod, Blackwoods and Diva brands. In the year ended March 31, the firm reported a profit of just £10,000.
This was a marked improvement on the £97,000 loss it suffered last year. Meanwhile, revenues rose to £1.6m from £1.2m but shares fell 7.3pc, or 0.25p, to 3.2p.
