Out of the mouths of babes
MANY years ago, my daughter and son, aged four and two respectively, were playing on their new seesaw, singing:
‘ See Saw, Margery Daw, Johnny will have a new master. He shall earn but a penny a day Because he can’t work any faster.’
My daughter said to her younger brother: ‘ You be Johnny, I’ll be Kozy.’
We asked her what she meant, and she replied: ‘Kozy [’cause he] can’t work any faster.’
