Peter Dolan, 61 Chairman, Allied Minds

BOTH the chairman and chief executive of Allied Minds have snapped up shares in their company.

The US venture capital firm, which is listed in London, funds and builds technology companies out of ideas formed in uni- versity laboratories. Peter Dolan, 61, who has been chairman for two years, bought 83,800 shares for 139.9p each – an outlay of £117,236. Jill Smith, 59, who was appointed chief executive this year, spent £100,450.

Allied’s shares reached a high of 725p in 2015. They closed at 135.5p last night.
