BLUEJAY mining fell yesterday after announcing an oversubscribed share placing and an investor’s withdrawal.
The Finland-focused metal miner had planned to place shares worth £3.5m, but due to high demand a number of senior staff agreed to sell an additional 5m shares at 12p each. At the same time, nickel miner Western Areas sold nearly 139m shares in Bluejay at 12p each, resulting in an outlay of £16.6m.
Bluejay shares fell 6pc, or 1p, to 15.5p.
