Double Oh No! Now it’s Dave the Bond villain...

-

AS turmoil engulfs the Conservative Party, somebody appears to be revelling in playing the bad guy.

A picture of David Cameron dressed as a Bond villain appeared on social media last night.

Cigar in hand, the former prime minister wore a white jacket, eye patch and black gloves as he attended a fancy dress party as 007’s arch enemy Emilio Largo from the film Thunderball.

The photo – which was swiftly deleted – was posted by the ex Tory leader’s sisterin-law Lohralee Astor on Instagram.

Addressing her 1,200 followers, the 38year-old wrote underneath: ‘Didn’t know Emilio Largo could look so good! Handsome brother in laws #jamesbond #villain’.

Commenting on the image, former model and health blogger Zoe Cole wrote: ‘DC looks so much healthier and happier out of the job! Good for him.’

However, Mr Cameron appears to have got his Bond villains mixed up. In the picture he carries a toy cat under his arm. However, there was only one 007 nemesis who had a moggie – bald baddie Ernst Blofeld from You Only Live Twice.

The latest photo comes after Mr Cameron shared a cringeworthy image on Instagram to mark his 21st wedding anniversary. He and wife Samantha posted a toe-curling picture of their feet as they layed side by side on the bed while enjoying a holiday in Andalusia, Spain. The former PM seems to have been enjoying his time away from politics and has kept a relatively low profile.

Mr Cameron has been on a lucrative speaking tour in America since the end of last year and recently forked out £25,000 on a so-called ‘luxury hut’ in his garden in the Cotswolds which he plans to use to pen his memoirs.
