Corbyn’s appeal

THE pundits are puzzled as to why the Conservatives have been punished in the General Election.

To me it is clear. Theresa May launched the campaign asking for a mandate from the people to get the best Brexit deal from the EU.

However, Jeremy Corbyn focused on the best deal for people related to something far more important — their income, housing and cost of living. In short, he focused on how the economy has been affecting people’s lives since the recession.

Visualising your future out of Europe, which the majority of people voted for in the referendum, is easier if your income is able to sustain you.
