OX WARNS YOUNG STARS THAT NEXT STEP ISN’T EASY
ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN has fired a warning to England’s Under 20 heroes. The midfielder, 23, who scored the opener in England’s 2-2 draw against Scotland, says that it will not be easy for them now to break into their respective club sides and play on a regular basis. The Arsenal star played for England Under 18s, Under 19s and Under 21s before winning his first England cap in 2012. He said: ‘Club managers have different agendas and it can be very competitive. The players need to make sure the managers have no choice but to play them.’
