We don’t know what to do, pleaded girl, 12 stuck on 20th floor

TERRIFIED 12-year-old Jessica Urbano called her mother at 1. 0am, saying she was trapped inside the burning tower.

The schoolgirl said she was stuck in a hallway on the 20th floor with others, adding: ‘We don’t know what to do.’

Her mother Adriana Ramirez, an office cleaner, was on her way home from work and tried to fight her way into the burning building but was held back as the fire took hold. She has not heard from her since. The mother told MailOnline: ‘Jessica called me. She was panicking. She said there was a fire.’

A witness said they had seen the schoolgirl being put in an ambulance, but her family have been unable to find her. Her mother said: ‘I haven’t heard from her. I am really worried.’
